The best breakfast sandwich

You know what’s annoying? When you search online for a recipe and it takes you to some mommy blog where you have scroll through 8 pages of bullshit no one cares about to get to a recipe.

Okay Susan, no one cares that 11 of your kids LOOOOOVED this recipe, but poor Kayyydense and Greighson weren’t able to enjoy it because of their gluten allergy. Otherwise you know THEY WOULD HAVE LOVED IT. And your ADORABLE hubby who is the pickiest eater you know LOL gave this recipe TWO THUMBS UP!!!! Even the infant loved this meal, she ended up with it all over her face! It was so stinkin’ cute!

Gag me.

I made a breakfast sandwich the other weekend that literally blew my tits off, it was so good. Here is the recipe (makes 2):

Here is what you need:

-2 Trader Joe’s croissants (or any brand but make sure they’re big bois)

-1 avocado

-4 eggs

-2 slices of cheddar cheese

-Turkey bacon (or real bacon if you’re macho)

-Trader Joe’s Everything but the Bagel Seasoning (it’s 2018, if you don’t own this seasoning yet honestly get out of my life)

-1/4 of a red onion chopped finely

-Butter (or cooking spray if you’re healthy or something)


  1. Put some butter on a skillet and cook that bacon up right nice (if you don’t know how to cook bacon then I can’t help you and maybe you should reevaluate your life)
  2. Once the bacon is done to your preferred crispiness, remove it and set aside
  3. Turn the heat down to medium-low and crack those eggs right onto that bacon grease
  4. Add the onions to the skillet as well
  5. Cook eggs as desired (but if you’re doing anything besides over easy then you make terrible life choices)
  6. Cut the croissants in half through the middle and open it up
  7. Spread ½ avocado onto each croissant
  8. Put the eggs and onions up on dat croissant as well
  9. Place a slice of cheese onto the eggs so it gets nice n melty
  10. Sprinkle on that EBTB seasoning
  11. Enjoy the greatest breakfast sandwich ever
